New Faces at TCP

Tri-City Prep gained six new teachers between the end of last year and the beginning of the new year, teaching in subjects that vary from Chemistry to English to Math.

Ed Marman is the counselor at TCP. His highest degree is a master’s degree. Marman says that the size of TCP is dramatic difference in size from other schools where he has taught.

“Coming from a large high school, I love the size of TCP and the ability to really get to know the students,” Marman says. “All of my interactions with students so far have been positive and respectful.”

Dan Furlow is the new English teacher at Tri-City Prep. He teaches Modern Literature, Courtroom Drama, and Creative Writing. He obtained a master’s degree.

The 2012-2013 school year also welcomed Ana Holtley. She is teaching Spanish. Her highest degree is a bachelor’s degree.

The new science teacher is Ezra Kaplan. He has a bachelor’s degree.

Tri-City Prep has added a new certified math teacher to the staff as well. Kathy Mezeske is a math teacher who also holds a bachelor’s degree. She is currently an instructor at Yavapai College.

At the beginning of this year, Tri-City Prep also gained an Arabic teacher. His name is Benjamin Hoffiz. He has earned a doctorate.
