TCP + Teens + the Twenties = the Vintage Valentine Dance

VDance-001-2 - Version 2By Natalie Krafft

On February 7th, the students of Tri-City showed up sporting 1920’s fashion at the vintage Valentines dance. From 7 to 10 PM, Students took a break from homework, hung out with friends, and danced their heart outs at Tri-City’s auditorium.

Student Council prepared by decorating the auditorium with rose petals and hearts (naturally) and painted panels that were also decorated with hearts and XOXO’s. They also sold flowers and sweet treats.

“I thought it was perfect,” said Bryanna Allen, freshmen. Allen also added that her favorite part was how everyone dressed up in their costumes. “I really liked the theme because it let everyone get dressed up.”

Students who dressed up were given a raffle ticket at the door. Midway through the dance the winner was announced and won Valentine’s Day treats.

On a scale of one to ten, Allen gave this dance a perfect score of ten.

Tri-City’s next dance is the Spring Fling on April 4th. After that dance is something every Senior should definitely go to. April 26th is Prom! We’ll have to wait till then to see what Student Council has to offer for the next dances.
