Tri-City Prep Varsity Takes 5th in Ashfork Volleyball Tournament

Tri-City’s Varsity volleyball team played in a two day tournament in Ashfork on Friday, September 13 and Saturday, September 14. They beat Seligman, Ashfork, and Mayer in the tournament. TCP lost to Camp Verde, Ashfork, Williams, and Baghdad.

The girls’ first match on Friday was against Seligman. TCP won the first game at 25-14. They also won the second game at 25-15.

Tri-City’s second match on Friday was against Ashfork. The first game was won by Tri-City with 25-16. The second game was again won 25-12.

The third match on Friday was against Camp Verde. Tri-City lost the first game with 25-19. The second game was also lost at 25-15.

The final match on Friday was Tri-City against Ashfork. The first game was lost with 25-15. Tri-City won the second game with 25-19. The last game was lost to Ashfork at 15-6.

Tri-City’s first match on Saturday was against Mayer. TCP won the first game with 25-10. They also won the second game at 25-17.

The second match on Saturday was against Williams. Williams won the first game at 25-8. Williams took the second game with 25-19.

TCP’s final game of the tournament was against Baghdad. Tri-City lost the first game at 25-21. They also lost the second game with 25-16.

The girls played great all weekend. They had many great serves, attacks, passes, and sets.
